Tribe is operated by Upper East Enterprises LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy describes what information we collect through the Tribe app and website (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.
We collect: your phone number, email address, and sign-in identifiers from Apple or Google; the profile information you provide, such as your name, date of birth, gender, photos, the location you enter, and profile answers, some of which may reflect religious observance; selfies you submit for photo verification, which we compare to your profile photos to confirm your profile is genuine; your activity and messages on the Service, which are stored to deliver them and may be reviewed for safety and moderation; contacts you choose to upload for optional features; purchase records from Apple's App Store or Google Play (never your card number); device and usage data such as push notification tokens, log and crash data, analytics events, and ad attribution data; and the contents of messages you send to support.
We use this information to provide and improve the Service (creating your profile, showing you to other members, matching, and messaging), for safety, moderation, and enforcement of our Terms of Service, to communicate with you, to process purchases, for analytics, and to measure advertising.
Your profile is visible to other members; your phone number and email are not. Service providers (hosting, phone verification, push delivery, purchase processing, analytics, and support tooling) process information on our behalf. Advertising measurement partners such as Meta and TikTok receive limited event data under their own policies. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights or safety of Tribe, our members, or the public, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell your personal information.
We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account in the app or by following the steps at tribejewishdating.com/delete-account. After deletion we may retain limited information as required for legal compliance, purchase records, and preventing fraud and abuse.
You can review and edit your profile information in the app at any time, and you can contact us to exercise any access, correction, or deletion rights that apply where you live.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
We may update this policy from time to time and will post the current version here with its effective date.
